Inclusion
Sport for everyone!
At Sportzentrum Mitte, we firmly believe that sport must be accessible to everyone – regardless of background, age, gender, or physical or mental ability. Our vision is to create a place where everyone has the opportunity to participate in sports, become part of a community, and experience the joy of exercise.
Our projects
In close collaboration with our strong partners, SPORTUNION Salzburg, AUVA, and the Salzburg Disabled Sports Association, we implement numerous projects and activities specifically aimed at breaking down barriers and promoting inclusion. We attach great importance to ensuring that everyone who visits our sports center has access to our offerings and feels comfortable – regardless of their personal circumstances.
Inclusion Autumn Games
At the Inclusion Autumn Games, participants have the opportunity to compete against each other in a sporting competition.

School Games of the ÖBSV
As part of the School Games, students with physical and mental disabilities had the opportunity to compete against each other in class.

Training sessions of the Salzburg Disabled Sports Association
The Salzburg Disabled Sports Association offers a wide range of training programs for people with disabilities, including wheelchair basketball, wheelchair dance, bocce, table tennis, and sports programs for blind and visually impaired people. With these programs, the association creates an inclusive environment that emphasizes the joy of sports, individual development, and community. Here, participants can develop their athletic skills and be active together.
